Images of Hollywood
Hollywood and Vine used to be a pretty big part of Hollywood’s history. In the 20’s there were a lot of Radio and movie businesses in that area all centering around that intersection. Now, not so much.
We used to make movies in Hollywood. I remember as a kid going to Universal Studios and the slogan was “The Entertainment Capitol of the World.” Now it says, “The Entertainment Capitol of LA.” That’s a pretty big decline in entertainment output.
One of my favorite things to do is explore LA in the nigh rains. You find so many interesting things. Within this gallery, for example, I stumbled upon a recent wreck. Because of the rain, there were no bystanders. Even the victims were hidden as they called their insurance companies and tow trucks.
